Custom Xtras Development

Electronic Ink specializes in creating cross-platform Xtras for Macintosh and Windows. If the Xtra you need doesn’t exist, we’ll build it for you.

With our extensive knowledge of the MacOS and Windows operating systems, we’ll write a specification for an Xtra that will work seamlessly on Mac and Windows (and in Shockwave, too!). Then we’ll build that Xtra for you, work with you to shake out the bugs, even write supporting Lingo scripts for you, if necessary.

We charge a standard programming rate of $150 per hour. For small projects, all we need is a quick verbal or email approval and a credit card number, and we’ll get right to work. For larger projects, we will draft a detailed proposal, including feature specifications, costs, and timeline.

Billing is always by credit card draft. We charge 50% of your estimated project cost when we begin, then charge the balance due (for the actual hours worked) when we’re done.
